Some grocery stores such as Superstore (also called Extra Foods ) are charging a few cents on plastic bags currently. So,make sure you bring along some used plastic bags or dust-away some generic shopping bags from your storage and save those cents! Well, some other shoppers consider bringing along luggage-like bags while shopping (really), to save those bucks, well, isn't it time for you, too?
There are price drops in some supermarkets in specific periods or seasons, for example, during Fall - Extra Foods shelf stickers state promotions as "Price Drop" or "Reduced". Also, take note that these are yellow stickers with prices on it labeled for example; CDN 1.44 GST - meaning, GST not included yet in total price. Some items list the number 2 below the prices - this means you get this reduced price with a minimum of 2 item purchase, so for example if you buy only 1, you'll be charge with the original price and not the reduced price ( please ask the cashier or store attendant first, before paying for the items, and make sure that you clearly understand first, the pricing info as well as the promotional items, before you purchase any from the example Coquitlam food stores or supermarkets
