The Lujiang Hotel, Xiamen

The Lujiang hotel is one of those hotels in Xiamen with a "classical beauty". My wife Venus and I were able to have a "short" 2-day vacation in the hotel before it had a re-decoration. Unfortunately, at that time, the hotel was fully booked and we were not able to stay in a room with a view overlooking the Gulangyu Island.

Hotel Facts:

• good food and tea - you could get those late afternoon teas with dimsum buffet on the mezzanine overlooking the Gulangyu Island.

• good location - walking distance to the ZhongShan road , ferry port to Gulangyu Island, ferry port to Jin Men (Taiwan), ferry port to the Haicang zoo, sports complex, hospitals, post office, barbershops, beauty parlors, music centers, shopping malls, bus stations, taxi stands, banks, restaurants, McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, floating restaurants, speed boat rides around Gulangyu, travel agencies, and many others.
